"Extraordinary Women" nominated for the PRODU Awards
Our documentary series “Extraordinary Women”, dedicated to women who have positively impacted their communities and the world, has been nominated for the PRODU Awards. Created in 2017, this is a recognition of great importance for being the only one that highlights and promotes excellence in Latin and Spanish-language audiovisual production in the world.
Produced by our executives, Carolina Cordero and María Eugenia Muci, and moderated by renowned journalist María Elena Useche, “Mujeres extraordinarias” shares the stories of anonymous heroines who daily contribute to the betterment of humanity.
“It is a great honor to be nominated along with such interesting content in the prestigious Produ Awards, ‘Extraordinary Women’ is WAWA’s first production and continues to fill us with satisfaction,” said Carolina Cordero, who is also general manager of WAWA Association.
Judy Delpy: At ease at WAWA Inspiring Minds
On October 11th, we were honored to have Julie Delpy, one of the most accomplished women in the film industry. Her career as an actress, writer, director and producer has been an inspiration and stimulus for hundreds of professionals who have followed in her footsteps, but none of that has diminished her warm and approachable personality… With the presence of our associates connected from different parts of the world, this meeting took place in the framework of a new WAWA Inspiring Minds talk, where Delpy said she was so comfortable that she wanted to stay longer than the scheduled time.
These spaces are designed to offer anecdotal experiences that connect and inspire our members, so sign up for the next one and don’t miss out on an enriching experience. To participate and for more information email Patty Dominguez at patricia@wawaassociation.com.
