Former BBC Worldwide executive Paola Tonella has joined global media company Entertainment One (eOne) as director of international sales.
Based out of the company’s London offices, Tonella will report directly to Dan Gopal, EVP of sales for EMEA, and Patrick Roberts, VP of international TV sales on Nordic territories.
Additionally, she will work closely alongside Wilco Wolfers, MD of Benelux on film sales.
Prior to joining eOne, Tonella held a variety of roles overseeing multiple territories at BBC Worldwide over a 15-year period. Most recently, she served as content television manager for the Netherlands and Denmark, managing formats, digital, television and consumer products in Belgium and Finland.
Over her near two decade tenure at BBCWW, she was responsible for selling the company’s complete catalog across all genres, including factual, drama, comedy and children’s programming.
