Vianessa Castaños

In late 2019 I launched Anacaona Productions in Madrid, Spain with a focus on developing diversity-driven television series and films for international audiences; we currently have six (6) projects in development. My first digital series ‘Gringa Latina’ was released in 2014 and was an official selection at Raindance Web Fest; after which I went on to write and direct short films for CryptTV, and produce digital content on the topics of entrepreneurship and business management for Ramit Sethi/GrowthLab.

My writing – which centers heavily on travel and culture – has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, The Miami New Times, Passion Passport, Fodor’s, TripSavvy, HipLatina, Money Geek and more. In 2020 I stepped into the role of Deputy Editor of Girl Gone International, responsible for developing the editorial direction and content strategy in anticipation of the website’s relaunch.

In 2021 I began working with Meta (formerly Facebook) writing content in support of small business owners and entrepreneurs in underserved communities and developing markets globally.
