After obtaining a Bachelor degree in Broadcasting and Film at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and being a Doctorate candidate in Arts and Communications, Master in Broadcasting at University of South Florida, and various audiovisual diplomas from various prestigious institutions, Master in Business Administration at Universidad de Barcelona. Ms. Benitez Rojas worked in a variety of academic and professional positions in the United States, Asia, Canada and Europe.

Directing and producing some of the most famous animated series and feature films such as “The new world of the Gnomes”, “Santa VS Claus”, “Around the world for free” etc. Has received may accolades and awards for her work, such as Best movie script, Best short or to the best animation series. Seasoned media executive her strengths lie in her ability to conceive, create and develop audiovisual properties, preparing them for the international market. Expertise and a comprehensive knowledge of a specialized market enable Ms. Benítez Rojas to research viable properties and rights options.

Member of the Canadian Picture Pioneers, SGAE, ASIFA and EGEDA, among others international audiovisual organizations.

Guest speaker in the most prestigious international Universities and schools worldwide, Benitez Rojas have written software programs and books that are now considered to be the industry standard.

Founder of the International Media Arts Institute and Comet Entertainment Inc where she works as executive Producer and CEO, she teaches at Centennial College in Toronto, Canada. With over 35 years of experience in the animation industry, she sits in the board of directors of acclaimed corporations such as DFI Inc, or Vitamin Cartoons Inc.
