Monica Ross is a bilingual british-peruvian actor. She has a BA in Performing Arts (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú), has trained in different acting workshops and has experience in improv. She has recently finished her MA in Acting for Camera (TAI, Madrid). In Peru she has developed a career in theatre and television. Credits on stage include “El viaje de Mora”, “Punk Rock” and “Mi hijo solo camina un poco más lento” and on television “Los Vilchez” and “Chapa tu combi”. In Madrid, she has participated in “Clamidia” a professional short film that is now in distribution and has recently been selected for the IBICINE festival.
She has also been involved in playwriting and screenwriting. She has won the New Peruvian Dramaturgy competition organized by the Ministry of Culture, in the “Theatre for teens and children” category with her play “El mundo de los libros” and is currently training as a screenwriter.
